About Dr. Peter Takayuki ARAI

Born in Tokyo, Japan.
Moved to Los Angeles when 10 years old.
Attended US and Japanese schools in Los Angeles.

Attended and graduated from the University of Chicago majoring in chemistry.
Attended Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago.
Graduated in 1994 with Doctorate in Medicine.
Completed internship/residency in family medicine at University of California @ Davis Medical Center.
Served as medical director of non-profit clinic in Sacramento.

Came back to Los Angeles in 2001 as associate medical director of JIMC.
Opened his own private practice in 2004.
